I think you described yourself well - I would add loyal, a good friend, kindhearted and exceptionally good human being...I know...you're too humble to write that, but that is what I think of you! :)

I have Mono and feel very sick. Please send a couple of your prayers my way and towards my eldest daughter. She needs prayers too, for other reasons. Thanks, my friend.

I was recently thinking about the issue of tollerance and the frustration I face every day when I voice or in any way imply that I know the truth. Recently I forwarded an e-mail to people on my contacts list. I was met with a mixed response. I ended up feeling like I was wrong to have an opinion and that I should not be judgemental by thinking my way is the only way and the best way. I was told that I needed to accept other people's beliefs as being just as valid as my own. I was instructed to reflect on what travesties have been done in the name of Christianity. I know it's true. Christianity has a lot of history behind it that's not so pretty, involving wars, death, and persecution. I say I'm not interested in the cultural expression of Christianity but in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This attitude separates me even from other professed Christians. So I began questioning just what it is I believe and why. I'm thinking that maybe I really am rigid and inflexible and that I should be more accepting of differences. I want to be accepted but feel torn between the world and my faith. I also do not want to be an extreamist in either direction. I don't like being labeled. I just want to know why everyone else is right and I'm wrong. Any ideas here? You sound to be well grounded in the faith. Maybe that's what my problem is...I'm not in and I'm not out. I'm on the fence, being neither hot nor cold. I can't have it all.

Mark - I apologzie...I am so bad about checking ping's. I didn't even know what they were until just recently...LOL

I just went through facing and dealing with Browden's 2nd departure yesterday afternoon. Things did not work out at the 1st place, so we took him back and started from scratch. I had a rough night last night, but I am happy that he is in a good home. He is with one of my husbands relatives and their family now. I will get to see him from time to time and they agreed to keep me updated on how he is. I just got through printing out flyers and posting a classified ad at my church...God answered my prayer before I even received my first call! I feel very thankful and blessed today!
